Hello all,
First of all ,my sincere apologies if this a silly question, i am trying to do a river flooding modelling using delft-3d , i am finding differences in water level when applying discharge as a open boundary method [Total discharge] and another method [discharge in a cell] under operations tab.
In both cases i am applying discharge as 500 m3/sec, and the results are obtained as follows
1.open boundary method- no flooding , very low water level , result is obatained as range in 10 x -16 m3/sec
2.under discharge tab - huge flooding , normal flooding , result is obtained as range 4 to 5 m
I don't know which method is correct , please guide me.....
