On June 15 and 16, 2023 Hydrotec and Deltares invited to the "Regional Delft FEWS User Meeting 2023". We were happy that the event could take place in person again this year, but also offered the possibility for online participation. -
Interesting presentations and lively discussions at the Delft-FEWS NL User Day

On Tuesday 6 June, the Dutch Delft-FEWS community gathered in Delft for the annual Delft-FEWS User Day. Roughly 70 people had signed up, most of which are working for one of the 21 waterboards in the Netherlands, who have regional systems in place. There were also representatives present from the government (Rijkswaterstaat), consultants (who may work together with the waterboards), universities, and other stakeholders in water engineering. -

On September the 6th Marcel Ververs and Indra Marth visited the Deltares clients of the Austrian Delft-FEWS systems in Linz. Getting to know each other in person was a good start for Indra’s new role as account manager for Austria. It was interesting to hear how the different FEWS Systems are used and to discuss possible future developments based on the users’ wishes. We exchanged a lot of input to process and to pick up. -
Regional Delft FEWS User Meeting 2022 - successful digital event

The "Regional Delft FEWS Meeting 2022 for German Speaking Users" took place on 20 June 2022. Hydrotec and Deltares had invited everyone from the German speaking Delft-FEWS community to attend. More than 40 users and interested parties participated in the digital event and took the opportunity to exchange insights on current applications and processes, and learn about recent innovations. -
Canadian Delft-FEWS User Day 2022

On June 9th a Canadian Delft-FEWS User Day took place in Canmore, Alberta. In recent years many Canadian agencies, companies and researchers have adopted the Delft-FEWS platform for their flood and inflow forecasting, reservoir management and research, and it was about time they would be able to meet in person. -
