I wanted to be clear on the sediment feed file (.bcm) which is not in GUI. If we don't use this file for morphodynamic modelling, does the model only interact with the active layer for generating bedforms? If we are using this .bcm file, then does this mix up with the active layer for bedform generation? What is most convenient way to estimate the sediment feed at each timestep? I try to do it by running a single fraction model and observe the total sediment transport in the cross-section at the upstream boundary. But I am confused if this amount needs to be changed with respect to the active layer, as these may also interact with the active layer during the simulation. Thank youÂ
