Hi Hani,

The combination Visual Studio 2017 and Intel parallel studio 2018 is good. But I'm not sure whether the community edition of VS is enough. We use the professional edition. Looking at the Microsoft specifications the community edition should do.

Please post your findings on this forum.

Thanks.

Adri

Hi Hani,

I'm running with the same problems. I install Visual Studio 2017 and the 30 day trial version of the parallel studio Xe 2018 with the fortran compiler.
I'd like to know if it worked for you. Besides, I don't know how to start. According to the instructions, first thing is to check that the Foundation classes and the Common Tools are installed in VC 2017. But I don't know how to check that or how to install them. The C++ compiler that I used to use is totally different.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Jorge,

This page contains instructions about how to start.

Instructions for installing the VisualStudio modules are also on that page: section "1. Prerequisites", "Windows", item 2., "To install them after VisualStudio has been installed:"

Please let me know if you have suggestions to improve this page.

Thanks.

Regards,

Adri
