Compiling Delft3D source code
Youngling Posts: 2 Join Date: 6/16/16 Recent PostsDear All,
I have compiled the source code in Ubuntu. if I copy the folder trunk/bin/* to other Linux system, do I need to recompile and can I use these executable files to model?
Thanks!
best regards

When the other Linux system does not differ too much from the system you used for compiling (both Ubuntu? More or less the same version?), you can copy the binaries and run your model.
In case you use DIMR (for coupled D-Flow FM computations): DIMR must be installed with libtool. The (recent versions of the) bin-directory contains a script that can be used: libtool_install.sh.

Adri
