Hi everyone,
I am trying to add wind to my D-Waves model, through adding the following lines to the general part of the .mdw file:
MeteoData = windx.wnd
MeteoData = windy.wnd
or
MeteoData = windx.amu
MeteoData = windy.amv
I also tried to add the wind files through the GUI, or by adding it in the .mdw file under the 'Domain' section. Somehow, the model only uses the second MeteoData line, instead of both of them (hence the y-direction wind data). This results in wind either entirely from the north or entirely from the south. The model doesn't create a nice vector by combining the x-direction and y-direction provided. Does anyone recognize this behavior?
Thanks!
Hoyte
