Dear Delft3D Community,
I am getting an error when trying to import bed levels to interpolate xyz data onto my grid. This is a problem for both xyz files I’m developing for my project, and the tutorial files as well. I’m using “tutorial 4” (Section 4.2.5 in the manual) to troubleshoot. When I try to follow the following instructions from Section 4.2.5 of the manual:

I’m using “tutorial 4” (Section 4.2.5 in the manual) to troubleshoot. When I try to follow the following instructions from Section 4.2.5 of the manual:
- Import a sample file containing the measured bed levels: in the drop down menu at the top of the screen (See Figure 4.15), select the Spatial Operators menu, choose layer Bed Level, click on Import
- Dell Precision 5550 - Intel i7 processor (version 10850, 6 cores) a 32 GB of RAM.
- Windows 10 –10.0.19041 build 19041

Hi Michal,Thanks for your comment. I have utilized versions 2021.03 and 2021.02. 2021.03 had a separate, also critical issue which prevented me from using it. I've emailed our support personnel to see if they can provide me with 2021.04 - we are paying for support, so hopefully we will have access to the beta version.

Hi Michal (and everyone else)! I just wanted to give a quick update on this issue as I have resolved it myself, and I'm sure others will have similar issues in the future. The core of the problem is that we were extracting the .zip drive of the install files into a folder which was backed up by Microsoft OneDrive. We installed the actual Delft3D software into our Program Files (x86) folder which is not backed up by OneDrive, but just having the install files backed up in the first place was causing all of our issues. This caused a host of issues that were not replicable; even from repeat installations on the same machine. Therefore, the solution was to install the Delft3D installation files directly onto the C:// drive and make sure it isn't backed up by OneDrive (and I'm sure that Google Drive and other services might cause similar issues).
