At the starting point of the flow, the discharge should be greater than the other points.
But the output of the model gives incompatible results
any suggest what should i do?
I attach a file that contains an image of the modeling result
Thank you

Good day!

I have the GUI version 4.04.02 and downloaded and compiled source code tag 7204. I found that the folders in the bins for the source code are named differently compared to the GUI (e.g. flow2d3d vs dflow2d3d). As such, I decided to copy the files within the bins into the respective GUI-provided folders instead. Afterwards, I got the return code 126 error where a library could not be found and I realized that the shared folder had a bin folder inside it while the share folder in the GUI did not, so I dragged the files out as well, overwriting any existing files. This is when I now see the error: child killed: unknown signal.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

Hi Yew,
complementing the Tjitske's message, When we use Delft3d (open source) the first time, it is important to recognize that we need 1) the Delft3d GUI (the software requires the *.lic file to use the program) and 2) we need the executables files, that we get from the open source compilation. Many people think that Delft 3d GUI it's by itself the modeling system. If you don't have any of these two "components" you will not simulate anything.

Other possible considerations, a) if you have the Delft GUI and the executable files, you have to copy the executables files and paste them in their corresponding Delft GUI folders or b) other option is to run your simulation using a batch file; in this case, you should use the GUI to create the grid, interpolate the depths and set the simulation.
