But I think this can be done by creating one boundary line for each grid, manually or using Delft Dashboard.
After that, you can generate the (time-varying) tides in Delft Dashboard (https://publicwiki.deltares.nl/display/DDB/Download).

For other constituents (salinity, temperature), I had no experience other than generating the input manually or nested from a global model.
Hope this help.

Thanks, Munawir

Just fixed this problem. I am sharing a method to fix this problem in case anyone is under a same situation.
1. Read the results of sediment from the flow and multiply 1000;
2. Writing the revised values into the 'com-xxx.dat' file, use the 'vs_put' in matlab. You can choose any parameter to cover its orginal values, but remember the parameter you choose. For example, choose the 'salinity' and cover the data of 'salinity' with the data of revised sediment concentration data.
3. Coupling the 'com-xxx.dat' and get the 'com-xxx.sal' file. This file used to be the data of salinity, but you have revised the data by SSC, so right now its values acctually representing the SSC.
4. Reading the 'com-xxx.sal' in the WAQ by segment function.
5. Checking the results of SSC by running the WAQ model

Hi all,

I'm starting to work with Delft3D-WAQ. I runned the coupling (it finished ok), created the substances, defined the input, but when trying to run WAQ(1), I get an "unknown signal" as an error message. So verifying the coupling in the reports, I noted the file ".lst" was not created by the coupling processes, it is missing. Still in the reports, when trying to check the input file, the message is also the ".lst" file could not be found. Please, could someone help me. Why is this file not being created, what do I need to solve this problem? Thank you very much!

Hi there,
I am trying to modelling the adsorption of phosphate by sediment in an ideal estuary.
When I tried to input the results of sediment from FLOW into the WAQ, I found that the values of sediment are remained but the unit changed from kg/m^3 to g/m^3. This decreases the order of the value of sediment by 10^3 in WAQ.
I am wondering that is there any ways that I can just increase the results of sediment in FLOW by 10^3 and then input into the WAQ.
I don't want to simulate the sediment processes in WAQ independedly because it cannot consider the feedback of sediment to the flow.
It well be great if anyone can offer some advice, thanks!!!
Regards.
