Dear Delft3D community,<br /><br />in my installation of Delft3D it seems to be impossible to deactivate the refraction process in the WAVE module / SWAN.<br />Comparing WAVE runs (tried both coupled and standalone) showed that I get exactly the same results regardless of the value (true / false) of the <em>refraction </em>keyword in the mdw file. The SWAN <em>INPUT</em> file does contain the correct keyword <em>OFF REFRAC</em> and no error / warning message is given in SWAN or D3D output.<br />I observed the same behaviour when trying to disable frequency shift. For wind growth it worked, however.<br />The same problem occurs on both my local Windows installation (Delft3D-WAVE Version 3.07.00.62434) and the Linux server (Delft3D-WAVE Version 3.07.00.64862) I&#39;m using.<br />My colleagues (who use the same program version on their computers) encounter the same behaviour when they try to disable refraction in their models.<br /><br />It seems to me that the problem is not directly related to the WAVE version or the model setup. Nevertheless, I have attached a simple model setup that yields the same simulation results regardless of the <em>refraction </em>keyword.<br /><br />Any suggestion would be much appreciated.<br /><br />Cheers,<br />Arne
