<p>I suspect VisualStudio+Ifort to need more than 8GB. May be a
workaround is to reduce the number of parallel project builds as follows:</p>
<p>In VisualStudio , menu bar -> "Tools" ->
"Options..." -> "Projects and Solutions" ->
"Build and Run" -> "maximum number of project builds"</p>
<p>I expect this parameter has the value 4 or 8. Set it to 1. Then
recompile. It will be slower but will need less memory.</p>

<p>I'm having a trouble trying to compile the tag version 7545 on
Windows 10, Python 3.4 Visual Studio 2015, Intel Parallel Studio XE
2016 (Fortran compiler). Always at the end of the compiling my PC stay
without memory (total of 8 Gb) and the compilation doesn't finish.
After, my PC doesn't respond more and the screen stay black withouth
video signal (I think the PC doesn't have memory to display a video).
Strange that the memory ends always on the final of compilling. Is it
an error of the compilation or I really need more memory to compilling?</p>
