Good Day Delft community!
Our group is currently conducting a design project through delft3d. The objective of the project is to reduce storm surge induced coastal flooding in a specific area using hydraulic structures (Seawall, Breakwater and Dyke).
We have already done the initial water level simulation in the area and we would like to know if it is possible to insert hydraulic structures using delft3d. We plan on simulating and recording the water levels during a typhoon's occurrence with and without a hydraulic structure in order to quantify its effectivity. Is this method possible using delft? If yes, is there a specific procedure that we can follow in order to do it?
Thanks in advance!
