Hi Carlos,
your problem is related to the Matlab Compiler Runtime (MCR), it is not a problem of Quickplot routines.
Did you get an error message where says:
Previously accessible file “C:\Program Files\...\startup.m” is now inaccessible.
Error:Error in mclFreeStackTrace.
?
If you got that message, you can try one of these options:
1) Disabling your antivirus, or
2) Running Quickplot exe file as Administrator.
3) Check the exe and ctf files are in the same folder.
Kind regards
Gabriel

Gabriel,
I am having the same issues with running Quickplot. I tried options 1 and 2 that you mentioned, with no luck. With option 3, I was wondering which ctf files need to be with the Quickplot exe?
I first had the issue after updating my Matlab, could that have somehow interfered? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Delft3d 4/the MCR, with no luck.
Best
Matt

Hi,
I routinely encountered this issue and this is my routine before opening the quickplot.
Open this directory "C:\Users\{User Name}\AppData\Local\Temp\{User Name}"
Then delete the folder named "mcrCacheX.Y".
After this, I can open my quickplot without the {mclFreeStackTrace} warning.
Good luck, Munawir
