How to deal with islands?

It appears that the behaviour of RGFGRID with multiple polygons as shown in this video by Dano is not present anymore in its latest iteration (I'm using the 2019.1 release, 5.05.00.59437): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBFH1vWCO90&t=

I'm not sure when this disappeared but in the RGFGRID version coming with Delft3D 4.02.03 it works as in the video. In the 2019.1 version it either makes just a grid in the island polygon or covers it with a coarse grid.

How are islands supposed to be dealt with 'nowadays'?

I agree, we will like to know how to deal with the Islands. Also on the version of RGFGRID 6.01 I am not able to refine equidistant the polygon, it wants me to refine the segments. I am sure there is another way as when the time to do several Islands this will be quite time consuming.  Thanks a lot in advance. Best, Angel

Hi everybody,
is there anything new to say about this issue? It has been almost a year since the thread creation without answer.
Thank you very much,
David

Hi there,we too are very keen to see this resolved. This sort of usage seems like a common and fairly fundamental application of D3D FM and the method Dano demonstrates shows it can be done very efficiently (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBFH1vWCO90&t=), but that functionality has now been removed. Surely D3D is not just for rivers? ;) Please bring back those operations!
