Hi Dong Yang,

Do you have access to a GIS package? I usually create a polyline shapefile (*.shp) to represent my land boundary using GIS e.g. ArcView. Once I have the shapefile saved I open it in Delft3D-QUICKPLOT (part of the Delft3D GUI) and export it to a landboudary format (*.ldb). To open a shapefile in QUICKPLOT just select All Files (*.*) in the file open dialogue box as there is no explicit option for shapefile. Once you have the shapefile open the option to export it as a landboundary becomes available in the right hand side of the QUICKPLOT window.

I'm sure there are many other ways to create a landboundary file as well but this one works for me.

Cheers,

Richard
